Globo is based on the representation of like-minded users in maps:
after degrees in philosophy and economics, he previously worked for more than 10 years in the traditional economy. He then moved into the management of an NGO
"There, I realized that the world is one and ultimately shares a common destiny. Impetus and solutions for future topics may come more than before out of ourselfs – the society. Along this thoughts I´ve invented the idea of Globo.”
Since his youth Andreas Alin has been dealing with IT and web development. In his PhD work at the University of Tuebingen, Germany he is researching in probabilistic models for advanced driver assistant systems.
At the same time he cares for Globodynamics, cares for the conception and the technical infrastructure. What he likes about the idea of globo:
"Globo is able to help getting a new unterstanding of democracy. Each individual can organize a group of similar-minded people. Thereby changing his environment or politics together. The click of his mouse at pro or contra is the first step to do so. At the same time the opinion of the internet community is visualized in a direct way. But next to this useful component, globo is also fun. You can express your opinion even to fun themes."
Further Andreas is caring for the data privacy and data security at Globodynamics. "Individual opinions are a valuable private property. Nonetheless it is important to make your opinion public, in order to be heard.
"We will do everything in our power to protect the privacy of our users. If someone has questions about our security or suggestions, feel free to contact me directly."
studies M.Sc. Cognitive Science at the University of Tübingen. From early on he was interested in mind, consciousness and perception and he now focuses on the analysis and simulation of cognitive functions like perception and emotion.
At Globodynamics he takes care of the conception as well as building up and supporting the community. What he especially likes about the idea of Globo: "To me, Globo is a novel opportunity to structure ideas, criticism, initiatives and interests, find friends and impart knowledge. You don't simply have a one-sided view of an important topic, but you can exchange and rate arguments. With the map you can easily see how the opinions are spread.
"To me, data security is of course a very important issue. A good skepticism about sensitive data is really important nowadays. So that you can tell your opinions relaxed anyway, we created a transparent system like the Globo-Council and you can of course always contact me!"
